Cancellation & Weather Policy

STMA events are held outdoors and run rain or shine unless an event's materials say otherwise. Plan for the forecast and come ready for changing conditions.

Fees and Transfers

• All vendor fees are non-refundable.
• Registrations can't be transferred to another vendor or to another event. The only exception is the severe weather credit described below.

Cancellations and No-Shows

• Cancellation with notice: If you can't attend, tell STMA before the event. You won't get a refund, but it won't count as a no-show.
• No-show: If you don't attend and didn't notify STMA, you forfeit all fees paid. At STMA's discretion, you may not be eligible to participate in future STMA events.
• Early breakdown: Breaking down before the official close is not allowed except in a genuine emergency. Slow sales, low foot traffic, and personal preference are not emergencies. Early breakdown carries the same consequences as a no-show.

Weather Is Not Automatic Grounds for a Refund or Credit

If you choose not to attend because of predicted or current weather, that doesn't qualify you for a refund or credit.

Come Weather-Ready

• Secure every tent with proper weights, especially in wind.
• Sidewalls are strongly recommended in case of rain.
• You're responsible for protecting your own tent, merchandise, equipment, and displays.

Schedule Changes for Safety

If weather creates a safety concern, setup times, hours, entertainment, and activities may be delayed, shortened, suspended, or adjusted. Only STMA or an authorized venue or public-safety representative can delay, suspend, shorten, postpone, or cancel an event.

Severe Weather Credits

If STMA cancels an event because of severe weather or other circumstances beyond its control, affected vendors may receive a credit toward a future event. Credits:

• Are valid for one year from the date issued
• Can be applied to any eligible STMA event
• Are non-transferable and have no cash value
• Require you to pay the difference for a higher-priced event
• Are not issued for partial-day closures

Credits are issued at STMA's discretion and are not guaranteed.

Day-Of Updates

A forecast, watch, or warning doesn't mean an event is canceled. Check the event's official communications or contact STMA directly, and wait for official confirmation before assuming a cancellation.
