Shop the Market at is proud to partner with WanderLinger Restaurant & Brewery to present the artisan market for Mardi Gras at WanderLinger, a full-day cultural celebration spread across the WanderLinger and Chattanooga Choo Choo grounds. Inspired by the authentic spirit, music, cuisine, and traditions of New Orleans, it's built to transport guests to the heart of Louisiana — right here in Chattanooga.
From a Second Line brass band and a Station Street parade to a King Cake competition, Cajun and Creole food, and a marketplace of makers dressed in Carnival color, this is a celebration of the sights, sounds, and flavors that have made Mardi Gras one of the world's most beloved festivals. Together, Shop the Market at and WanderLinger hope to establish it as an annual Chattanooga tradition.
This is only the beginning. Additional entertainment, attractions, contests, performances, and special announcements will be revealed in the coming months. Laissez les bons temps rouler — let the good times roll.
What to Expect

Second Line Brass Band
Traditional New Orleans-style marches winding through the festival all day.

Mini Mardi Gras Parade
A colorful procession down Station Street with decorated floats, festive costumes, beads, umbrellas, and live entertainment.

King Cake Competition
Local bakeries and home bakers compete for bragging rights, with authentic King Cakes for sale throughout the day.

Artisan Marketplace
Artists, makers, and specialty vendors fill the Chattanooga Choo Choo Gardens, booths dressed in Mardi Gras color with masks, beads, feathers, and umbrellas.

WanderLinger Bars
Mardi Gras-inspired specialty cocktails, craft beer, and New Orleans-influenced beverages from multiple bars, for an authentic Bourbon Street atmosphere.

Cajun & Creole Food
Food trucks serving Louisiana favorites plus a traditional New Orleans-style crawfish boil, jambalaya, gumbo, po'boys, beignets, and more.

Music, dancing, and interactive performances keeping the celebration going all day.

A Celebration Close to Home
For founder Robert Davis, this one is personal. Seven years living in New Orleans gave him a deep appreciation for the city's culture, cuisine, world-renowned music, historic architecture, and the traditions of Mardi Gras — and a long-held vision of bringing an authentic taste of it home to Chattanooga.
